MASSANE

The innovator MASSANE wines are produced by Paul Tori, the owner of the well-known estate in the upper Hérault Valley Château Saint-Jean d'Aumières. In order to bottle the essence of the Mediterranean, Paul took advantage of the region's wonderful potential. Unlike mass-produced wines, the creation of MASSANE wines requires careful planning and care. Paul directs every step in the production process in order to achieve superior quality wines that express the region's terroir above all the others. The land In order to offer fruit-driven varietal wines, two ideal terroirs have been selected: the middle Hérault River and the vineyards surrounding the city of Clermont l'Hérault. Situated just north of the Mediterranean Sea and surrounded by the Cevennes mountains-an extension of the central highlands of France. This winegrowing area is blessed with warm, sunny days and nights cooled by the breezes from the Mediterranean and nearby mountains. Our selected terroirs produce the perfect fruit for the production of crisp and fresh white wines, rich and concentrated velvety reds, and a refreshing rosé. Beyond partnership, a Commitment… Rather than merely sourcing grapes or wine, long-term partnerships have been developed with a number of grape growers who have agreed to adopt our specific viticultural process. They have allowed us to supervise the total quality management of the canopy and yields per hectare. These strong efforts of mutual cooperation have grown into a commitment to insure a production with a sustainable consistency, where the identity of the soil, the grapes and the growers' savoir-faire are fully realized.
