Giboin Cognac

Our property l'Hermitage is located at the heart of the Cognac region, in the Borderies appellation, the smallest of all the cognac's appellations.
It is planted with Ugni Blanc on a single parcell of 25 acres, surrounding the cellar and the house. The unique soil is made of a brown clay with an underlying layer of gypsum.
The low percentage of acidity and low yield make it ideal for the production of fine cognacs and well-balanced pineaux.
