1804 Foundation of the “Maison Cuvelier” in Haubourdin by Henri Cuvelier.
Today this office is partly directed by Bertrand Cuvelier.
1903 Purchase of the "Chateau Le Crock" a Saint-Estèphe Cru Bourgeois.
Its 30 hectares are situated between Château Cos d'Estournel and Montrose.
1920 Purchase of the "Château Léoville Poyferrè" a Saint-Julien 2nd Cru Classé and of "Château Moulin Riche" a Cru Bourgeois exceptionnel.
The vineyard is situated on one of the most beautiful hill tops of the Médoc region.
1946 Foundation of the "Maison Cuvelier" in Bordeaux by Max Cuvelier, to allow a more efficient distribution of the wines produced by the family.
1979 Didier Cuvelier takes over the management of the Cuvelier properties. For the first time since the puchase, the properties are being directed by a member of the Cuvelier family.
This enabled to put in action a large investment program.
1985 The responsibility of the "Maison Cuvelier" in Bordeaux is taken over by Olivier Cuvelier. Besides the distibution of the wines produced by the family, it also distributes an important range of great Bordeaux wines.
