Only 25 minutes from Palo Alto or San Jose or 50 minutes from San Francisco, Cooper-Garrod is a family owned and operated 28-acre estate vineyard and winery specializing in the Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Viognier varietals and our own Bordeaux-style blend, R.V.'s Fine Claret. Located above the village of Saratoga on unirrigated hillsides in the eastern Santa Cruz Mountains, the vineyards capitalize on the sunny days, moderate nights, and long growing season which bring this appellation due recognition for world class wine production.
Our tasting room, the Fruit House, is open seven days a week and is ideally situated to be your gateway to discovering the wines and wineries of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Truly, "A Destination Worth Knowing!" sm
Our equestrian center, Garrod Farms Riding Stables, offers horseback riding daily on trails with panoramic views of Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay. We also have picnic and special event facilities in addition to wine tasting.
