Our approach to Pinot Grigio is completely different than that of other grapes. Pinot Grigio grapes have red skins, so we must press them quickly and gently in order to extract the juice without gaining color. The juice is cold fermented in stainless steel tanks and bottled immediately. The 2006 Pinot Grigio is pale in color, with aromas of pear and tropical fruit, giving way to a rich and creamy honey on the palate. It is a crisp, refreshing wine with a clean, smooth finish.
