Our Estate Merlot is known as a Cab lover’s Merlot. The 16% Cabernet Sauvignon that has been cleverly blended in brings out a wonderful density and intense concentration in this wine. The rocky soils where this wine is grown produces many layers of fine tannins that meld well with the rich blackberry, brown sugar and minty flavors. There is a burst of intriguing berry fruit and spice on the palate as well. The finish is long with lingering acidity, making it a great food wine. American Oak accentuates the fine tannins and adds a hint of crème brûlée and rich chocolate. Yum!
