A beautiful dark ruby color with a nose that has intriguing earth tones, white pepper and plum essence. On the palette you will experience a dense velvet feel with a balance of black cherry, toasted oak with a lingering soulful finish. This wine will go very well with rich beef dishes such as prime rib or filet mignon.
Winemaking:
19 months on New American and French Oak. Hand sorted and lightly pressed to extract the beautiful colors and flavors that are so prevalent in this fruit.
Gary Galleron is the Bourassa Vineyards consulting winemaker. Gary has made such world class wines as, Chateau Montellena, Grace Family Wine, Hartwell Wine, Whitehall Lane Wnery and Vineyard 29. Gary is a hands-on artisan who is considered to be one of Napa Valley's most respected winemakers.
