The first wine in our Family Collection, the 2005 Gewürztraminer, was made to celebrate the wine tradition of the family. Frederich, Thomas’ grandfather, traditionally enjoyed a glass of Gewürztraminer after dinner. The grapes for this refreshing, dry wine were sourced from the Russian River, fermented in stainless steel tanks (with a couple barrels used for fermentation to create a fuller bodied wine) and aged for 6 months. It’s the perfect “anytime” white wine with refreshing flavors of guava, mango, lychee and tropical spices.
