Quite possibly the best Cabernet ever harvested from this property, the 2003 Claret boasts both power and structure. An intricate blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot explode on the palate harboring concentrated fruit flavors of ripe cherry and luxuriant blueberry. The Cabernet is inky, dark, and concentrated exhibiting a lush, rich and bold tannin structure. This 2003 Atlas Peak Claret pairs beautifully with Steak au Poivre served with spinach and roasted potatoes.
