The Dr. Maurice Galante Vineyard is nestled among the redwoods in the glorious Russian River Valley. Our two favorite Pinot Noir Clones craft this perfectly balanced wine. Clone 115 (84.5%) provides a creamy blackberry fruit character and adds body and depth of tannins while Clone 113 (15.5%) provides aromas of fresh strawberries and raspberries and completes this wine by providing a lingering finish.
This artisan wine was crafted from grapes that were hand picked and sorted, cold soaked for 5 days, fermented in small lots and then aged in French oak barrels (50% new) for 12 months.
