Bouchaine Gewurztraminer, 0

:Wine Rating
We have bottled 130 cases of a Gewürztraminer from an Anderson Valley vineyard renowned for this delightfully perfumed variety. It represents the dry dinner style of previous Bouchaine Gewürztraminers. “Gewürz” means “spicy” in German. "Traminer" refers to a family of grapes.
Bouchaine winemaker Michael Richmond says, “spicy alone has never resonated with me as adequate to describe this wine. I find much more, like floral, honeysuckle and plumeria. I can see tropical fruit, like lychee and Asian pear, but no real spice cake and no chili peppers! Classic food pairings include wursts from Germany, mild curries from India, ginger laced stirfries from the Pacific Rim. Think exotic. I’ve also had a great time enjoying Gewurz with traditional Thanksgiving fare like smoked ham or turkey, just don’t over chill it and don’t forget the ambrosia."
