This is one of the most exciting syrahs we've ever produced, displaying aromas of smoked meat, cassis, white pepper and wildflower. We could add, if we allowed the fickle clarity of memory to inspire our prose, that the smokiness reminds us of the pipe tobacco our father smoked or that, yes, there is something reminiscent of the wild grasses of Provence. But even with those specifics, we could be describing a thousand different wines. Happily the internal language of our sensory system is very precise. The unique fingerprint of a wine can imprint on our sensory memory more specifically. You will find this wine memorable...and rememorable.
