It is an excellent wine which is to be savored; produced in limited quantities in our vineyards situated in Radda in Chianti.
After the accurate selection during the grape harvest, the Sangiovese and Cabernet-Sauvignon grapes processed separately.
After the fermentation phase, Slavonian oak casks and 225-liter barriques are used for a 2 years storage.
Finally, after bottling, the wine is refined for at least 2 years and, therefore, the bottles of Pesanella are not available until 4 years after the grape harvest.
The wine is ideal to accompany red and white meat, roasts, boiled meat and game. The bottle must be kept at room temperature and opened at least 2 hours before serving. "Ballon" glasses are highly recommended for excellent tasting.
