It consists of a combination of up to four different vines - Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Trebbiano and Malvasia - originating from vineyards situated in the Commune of Radda in Chianti, which results in the production of a richly perfumed, slightly tannic wine which is suitable for long-term aging.
The bottles bear the Black Rooster trademark which guarantees their autenticity abd confirms that the wine has been controlled and approved by the Consorzio di Tutela del Chianti Classico (
