The grapes of this pure Gewurztraminer originate from Unterinn/Ritten, which is located 750 metres above sea level. The harvest takes place about 2 to 3 weeks after the other vineyards have finished. High-grade steel tanks are used for the fermentation process, where the fermentation temperature is controlled. This is followed by a bottle ripening process. The wine impresses you by its beautiful golden colour and its overpowering bouquet with an aroma of nutmeg and rose pedals. It is well-structured, smooth, almost creamy on the palette and is supported by a soft acidy taste. The wine is an ideal companion for fish dishes, shellfish, lobster and shrimps, also for goose liver pate and spicy blue cheese.
