Conscious that he loved and treasured this grappa, we have named this noble spirit after Uncle Eugenio who died in 1981. He was responsible for shaping the future of our family business for two generations.
Made from the freshly-pressed skins and pips from the Nebbiolo grapes that have been allowed to dry out slightly on the vine before being used to make wines in our Prestigio range, the grappa is twice-distilled and aged for six months. As a result, this exquisite grappa develops complex aromas which are powerful and yet smooth, as well as a delicate, flowery bouquet.
