This wine is composed of a selection of different grape varieties. The Carignan supplied by 90 year old vines combined with the Grenache and Syrah grapes offers a very interesting aromatic complexity. The grapes are handpicked and destalked before traditional vinification. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 14 months. The wine has a deep ruby color with notes of macerated red fruit and vanilla. Slightly woody, this wine is dominant in the mouth and is ideal with meats, sauces, game and cheese.
