Roque d'Aspes, AOC Faugères (traditional Burgundy bottle): these vines grow on the Domaine's highest land (the Roque d'Aspes) with the result that the grapes can reach full maturity while retaining their typical aromas.
The main grape varieties are Grenache and Mourvèdre (at least 50%). The latter, vinified by carbonic maceration, is particularly evident in this wine, and is largely responsible for its originality. The wine is matured in vats for a year at most. Intense red on the eye, it has the characteristic spicy Mourvèdre nose, enhanced by hints of black fruit (myrtle and blackberries). In the mouth it is rounded and spicy, with good length
