Characteristic of Gascony's white wines, our Blanc Sec 2005 combines traditional grape varietals Colombard (60%), Ugni Blanc (30%) and Gros Manseng (10%).
This clean, fresh wine is pale gold in colour; sprightly, clean and packed full with delicious citrus fruits and ripe pineapple.
Lauroux Blanc Sec is well suited to fish or white meat, salads or light pasta dishes. The zesty lemon and cut grass notes offer a perfect accompaniment to spicy and aromatic dishes.
Serve well chilled.

"Buy this wine. Whatever else you try this summer, make sure that you find an opportunity to have a couple of bottles of this.......The Cotes de Gasgogne has leapt out of the sea of Vin de Pays mediocrity to produce some of the best, liveliest, brightest wines this year. So it's brilliant to feature another stellar wine, made by Nicholas and Karen Kitchener – a British couple who sold up, moved out and now succeed brilliantly as winemakers. Spotless, clean fruit, bouncy citrus freshness and smiling with ripe tropical fruit. What a beauty".
