Pale bright yellow. Spicy, buttery nose shows good purity and lift. Rich, supple and sweet, with ripe acidity framing the honey and underbrush flavors. There's a creamy, musky quality that reminds me of a white Burgundy that received substantial batonnage In fact, a long fermentation and extensive lees contact gave this fairly large-scaled wine more structure and body, noted Meyer, who also finds that it tastes sweeter than its 3 grams per liter would suggest.
