This wine is made from unblended, 100% Pinot, grown in Carneros, fermented, cellared, and bottled at Cooper-Garrod. Lovely garnet color – beautiful in candlelight! In the nose, bright raspberries and red plums, cocoa powder and rose petals. The wine has a mouth-feel of strawberries, cranberries, wild mushrooms, and a hint of cedar around the edges. Light and lingering finish. A versatile wine that pairs nicely with coq au vin, grilled salmon and traditional American holiday meals.
