The subtle green-gold color of the wine belies the complex aromatics and opulent flavors that follow. In the nose, delicate, almost ethereal, aromas of peach and green apple float against a backdrop of pineapple. As the wine opens up, subdued toasty oak nuances beautifully intertwine with loads of juicy tropical fruit flavors and bright acid notes. The mouthfeel is round and polished with a weighty, velvety texture while the finish is long and unhurried. Try this wine with oysters on the half shell, Thai take-out, or simply on its own with a summer sunset.
