Aromas of blueberry, blackberry, clove, anise and dark chocolate are the introduction to this rich Merlot, as flavors of ripe black cherry and boysenberry syrup greet the palate. An integrated tannin structure that features notes of sweet vanilla and chocolate from the 100 percent French oak (50% new) lead to a well structured, luxurious finish with lingering notes of licorice, clove and brown spices.
