Hello Cyberspace!
This is my first blog of any description and do not really know what is up or down. anyway, wine and the winery. things are slow, tanks are empty, and fellow workers have been dropping like flies since the festive season got near. 6 of us will have survived the winter since last vintage with 20 others dropping off steadily throughout.
Conveyer belts are being reinstalled, vintage equipment is resurfacing after hibernating in off site storage and those of us that are left await the new blood and fresh start of 2010.
Last day for Gazza tomorrow. Good on ya mate. Look over your shoulder cos there will be a few buckets of port zeroing in on that noggin of yours.
Well that wasn't so painful.

Love it. I miss the building excitement/ dread of the coming vintage. The winery is a virtual ghost-town and you know you'll be praying for that calm in one short month...
If you don't want to get specific, at least tell us where you are and what you make? I want dirt. Especially about the fresh blood...
