It is a syrah, mourverde, grenache, and tannat blend. Great color a dark red but translucent color that I dont see enough of these days. Dark concentrated fruit lots of it. It has notes of plums, sour cherrys, strawberrys, with a long and hot finnish. This is a very powerful wine it starts to unravel right away with a big concentration of fruit on the front pallet then big tanins start to hit you followed by a long warm finish. It would go great with a sliced leg of lamb to help with the tannins. Over all I give this wine a 87 the high notes of this wine is that it packed a lot of fruit, it was in the second pallet were it started to come apart it seemed to be a bit unbalanced it does not lack complexity it has that but harsh tanin and the 14.9% percent did not help its overall performance.
